The installer identifies the opening type, frame condition, access, desired product, and whether the project is retrofit or full-frame.
2. Product selection and ordering
Window style, frame material, glass package, color and performance ratings are confirmed before custom-sized units are ordered where applicable.
3. Installation day
Work typically includes protecting nearby finishes, removing the required parts of the old assembly, preparing the opening, setting and fastening the new unit, sealing, and addressing trim or finish details in scope.
4. Final checks
Each operable unit should open, close and lock properly. Sealant, drainage features, finish work and cleanup should be reviewed.
